So the wife's car lost the driver's light. I pulled the housings and swapped the bulbs- that was it (I hope).
Well, I did a SLEW of research here the other day just trying to determine which housing she had and really just learned a lot of side stuff. It wasn't until I got the thing fully apart myself that I found it was AL (although in hindsight, you probably can tell by looking at the top).
Anyway, when I swapped the bulbs to test, I got the motor going too, so I think she has the adaptive lights as well?
Anyway anyway, on to my question: OEM= $214, Osram/Syvania= $70 both from Pelican, which is where I generally get my parts. Both are obviously DS2, but usually with that big of a gap, I don't like/trust it. This is a bone stock nice little car for my wife and the lights have lasted forever, but I don't want to be having to do this very often (dammit all getting the housing out with the washers is a PITA).
What say you guys? And thanks for any input.
