E30 1990 325is S52 Swapped Euroweave - Low Miles

I am selling my 1990 (1989 build) BMW 325is E30.
Car is in great condition inside and out. Very minimal rust and relatively low mileage car for the age at 150,688 miles.
It was originally equipped with a m20 and 5-speed Getrag, but I had it swapped with a S52 24v M3 Engine and ZF 5-speed.
The engine has roughly 65,000 miles and transmission has about 78,000 miles.

No force induction or questionable rebuilds. Just original leak free, low mileage engine fitted with 5-series oil pan and sump to fit in a E30 chassis.

During the swap, original LSD fluid was replaced and resealed. H&R Race Springs and Bilstein HD Shocks were installed along with new e-brakes and rear suspension bushings and wheel bearings. Rear Subframe and trailing arms were sandblasted and resprayed black. Original 14" weaves were replaced with 15" Euroweaves only offered in European E30s.

Car is a m-tech sports model equipped with the IS valence lip and trunk spoiler, sports seats and limited slip differential.
The front seats were re-dyed few years ago, and its holding up very well. No flaking at all.

All electric fully loaded car. Odometer gears, all window switches and moonroof switch is fully functional.
I have not put the radio back together, but it was fully functional before it was taken out, including the antenna.
Air conditioning is also not put back together, but all of the components are included with the sale: compressor, condenser, dryer, rubber o-rings, etc.

Garage kept for the past 27 years from the previous owner, who was an older chap. 2-owner car with clean Alabama title and autocheck report. I have maintenance list neatly organized in a binder. Car has very minimal rust for its age, body looked great when the subframe was removed.
As far as I know, the car is in great shape. Ill have engine oil replaced soon in case buyer is expecting a long drive back home.

I am willing to ship the car if necessary at the buyers expense! I have shipped numerous cars in the past (including several M3s, and never had any issues)

Car comes with additional spare set of 14" steel wheels with covers.

Let me know if you have any questions!
Car is located in Birmingham, Alabama

Replaced starter now no starter or speedo

I replaced the starter in my 04 330ci today and the first few times I started it it was fine. I drove it for about 15 mins and when I stopped i heard what I thought was the aux fan running. I just fixed my ac and thought that's why it might be running now. I came out 2 minutes later and still heard it, when I went to start the car I had no starter. Popped the hood and the sound was coming from inside or below the manifold. I popped started the car and got to my appointment. Tried again and a few times after and still no starter. Coming home I realized my speedometer only reads about 16mph. As soon as I start moving it jumps up and when I stop it drops below 0. Anyone got any ideas? I'm suppose to be taking the car on a 6 hour trip saturday morning and need everything working.

Kinda wanna sell my e46

I want to get rid of this i think its time. I rarely check this so anyone that was sale that i didnt respond to i apologize. But i want to get a pick up truck. This car is a 04 325ci with about 170k. I bought it in 2013 with 99k. I traveled with it alot. It looks quite well in my opinion being 2004 made. Cons i can think of right now are hood has a quarter rust spot by emblem, clutch is slowly going due to throw out bearing and it smokes a bit ccv or something i dont know. also wile driving there is a thud in low rpms i think maybe CSB? Dont know.

Lots of pros though
Adjustable coilovers
new depo lights with angel eyes
most maintnence done
just got a new oem battery and valet key (fob key chip went bad wont start car)
new emblems
newer rear tires
idk what else

I guess this is a feeler as well a bit so dont get upset
I dont know what I want for it maybe 4k? I also have all stock parts
It had aftermarket headers no cats and needs inspection 7/17

Worth it to salvage and repair?

Hi all, first time poster here. I drive a 2003 325i sedan.

So a week and a half ago some thoughtless jackhole rear ended me at a stoplight. The insurance company is declaring the vehicle totalled and offering $4300 for it. If I opt to keep it they would be subtracted $361 from that amount. Their appraiser estimated repair cost at a touch over $3000.

I definitely think it is worth the $361. The wheels and tires alone are worth more than that and of course the engine runs like a top. What I'm not sure about it is whether it is worth it to me to try and get it repaired.

If I did it would have to be somewhere that quoted me less than $3k to do it. It would have a salvage title so I'm not fixated on taking it to stealership body shop, nor would I be averse to getting parts from a salvage yard. Resale value is crap at this point but the thought of sending it to rest in some boneyard breaks my heart. There are a lot of good miles left in that engine and the chassis seems just fine.

Thoughts? Opinions? Have a look at the pictures I took and tell me what you think please.

E46 M3 KONI Coilover Shock kit

Koni coilover shocks for 1999-2005 BMW M3 E46 Custom Valved Ground Control System.

I bought these second hand and did not install them because my wife ended up surprising me with a new coilover setup for my birthday! She rocks, nonetheless, I did not end up using/installing these. I did call ground control with the part numbers listed below and the rear shocks are custom valved shocks for one of their higher end GC coilover systems. The fronts are off the shelf Koni shocks.

Part numbers are: Rears: 3004 8241 1225SPGC, Fronts: 2804 8741 1438RSPORT and 2804 8741 1438LSPORT. See photos for all included parts and for condition. These shocks were installed and used briefly by the previous owner. The previous owner cleaned these up but as you can see from the photos, there are some spots of road tar on them which could likely come off. No guarantees on that. The only thing missing from this set are the eibach Linear springs which can be purchased directly from Ground Control or there are several for sale on M3forums.net. You would have to choose which spring setup you want for what the car will be used for. Ground Control is pretty helpful with that information. I am asking $500 shipped for the kit. Let me know if you have any questions.

Best Regards,

Dan

2006 ZCP 6speed M3

Imola / Black 72k miles 3/2006 build

Loaded – it even has the rear sunshade

$29,900

located an hour east of Pittsburgh.

History

From the records I have collected, the car was first delivered 5/22/06 @ Valley BMW in CA. The first owner put on 3718 miles. Then it was sold CPO 11/7/2006 by BMW of N Scottsdale. (I have a small stack of work orders from this dealer .. all minor work).

EAG first acquired the car 3/2013 @ aprox 49k miles. It was sold to someone who then sold the car back to EAG 5/2013.

I purchased the car 6/2013 from EAG. At that time it had 51254 miles on the clock. It has been my daily driver since then, and currently sits at 71,xxx miles.

Since the EAG service (inspection 2 + a new flex disc), most of the work on the car has been performed by our local M3 expert – Matt (coinage).

The car is EXTREMELY clean. For being 11 years old, the condition is exceptional. For example, see the pic of my steering wheel. That is 11 year old alcantara

There are some stone chips etc (again it is 11 years old) but you’ll be hard pressed to find an M this clean.

This has been my 3rd E46 M3. I am considering selling only to free up some money and move on to something else. There is a small loan on the car thru PenFed that I’ll be paying off soon.

Also, In 1/2016, the rear left bumper was bumped into while parked. This was very minor and did not alter the integrity of the car in any way. The rear bumper cover was replaced with a new BMW original part, & painted with Glasurit brand paint. No other work was needed, this was purely a cosmetic incident. It now looks as if this never happened. Just wanted to state this in the spirit of full disclosure.

Maintenance

I have a folder of invoices documenting nearly everything listed below. I either use BMW parts from places like ECS or FCP, or if I can source the exact item minus the BMW logo, I have some OEM parts as well. No cheap junk parts used. Oil changed every 5-7k. Sub-frame NOT done yet.

This has been a very solid car for me. The majority of the things I replaced were preventative and or 'while you're in there.' It currently needs absolutely nothing.

I'm sure I missed a few things. If so, just ask.

Starting an E46 Build and Youtube Channel

Hey guys, this is my second post and I'm very new to the forums! I just bought a BMW E46 323i and its significantly modded cosmetically. I'm about to put in headers and wanted advice for future mods that will increase horsepower out of an m54 engine. Check out my Youtube channel that follows my car's build! Here's a link to my latest video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iljQPbAnjis
