Ultrasonic cleaners?

What's everyone's take on these? Use them regularly or not worth it?



When it comes to cleaning pistols, I only do so once they start acting up. Using basic brushes, patches & qtips, it's hard to get all the gunk out of the trigger area and other recesses.



Will an ultrasonic cleaner automagically vibrate that junk off the gun, leaving it stripped of all dirt and lube?



Any warnings/tips regarding ultrasonic cleaners and gun finishes?
