Recently (this week) my 2003 330i with automatic, has had trouble shifting into 5th gear. It does this at all speeds, it feels like the car shifts into neutral then goes into fifth gear kind of hard. Problem is the worst when its cold. I took to an indy, they said I need a new transmission, actually a used one at 3400 installed. Obviously Im going to get a second opinion. Car has 106k. Not sure if GM or ZF tranny. Any help or input is appreciated.
