So I've had my car sitting for a few weeks because I was away on holidays.
When I arrived home I started my car and discovered it to be running rough and wanting to stall until it warmed up even by then there was still a noticeable vibration.
I connected OBDIIWiz to the car (new to using it btw) and found a pending error code P0306 cylinder #6 misfire. Still haven't managed a freeze frame yet btw.
Firstly new spark plugs and fuel filter were installed/changed about 2 months ago all was running fine at that stage.
Figure possible causes to either be...
-Ignition coil is on it's way out. (haven't tried swapping coils over yet)
-Fuel pump issue.
-Fuel injector clogged (might try a fuel additive to clean them)
-Vacuum leak (however would a vacuum leak cause more than just the one cylinder to misfire?)
Just wouldn't mind some guidance here and there. I'm very new to working on my own car :S
btw car is an '05 e46 320ci with the Msport package.
