e46 M52tu want to do coding reset - whole car

Perhaps after many attempts, someone can tell me what to do, preferably with WinKFP

I researched this heavily (for months, in evenings) while fixing my completely ripped out subframe mounts before attempting to reprogram my replaced MRS (Airbag) module to my car.

1.) Installed INPA, Tool32 and WinKFP with v40 Daten files placed appropriately (NCS expert gave me trouble in Windows 7, even running in XP virtual machine mode)

2.) Opened INPA, verified that I could see all sorts of cool stuff! Went to Airbag module, could see it working. I could sit in the passenger seat and it would change to "occupied" Airbag had "coding mismatch" errors as expected, it is of course not the original. That is why the airbag light is on.

3.) Pulled Assembly Number/ZUSB "7505515" off of MS42 DME in the ECU section of INPA.

4.) Went to WinKFP, put in 7505515 and it said ERROR: there is no data in the config file for that ZUSB

5.) WinKFP: Selected "Update ZUSB" and entered my VIN, and said program, and OK after it told me how many times my module (I figured airbag module) could be reprogrammed. It did not use the same ZUSB number as I found on the ECU, I figured it was updating as I saw in many threads.

6.) Car cranks, but won't start. I figure I must have accidentally reflashed my ECU instead and now nothing matches. I think this is irreversible, and I need a new DME, EWS and set of keys with ignition cylinder. Am I correct?

(If you can fix this and are near St. Louis, MO I will be happy to compensate fairly. This is my daily, and I'm using a borrowed car to get to work.)
