E46 330ci Clubsport engine swap

Hi all,



not posted on here in a long time,



Im changing the engine out of my 330ci clubsport for another engine as the original has been absolutely roasted by its previous owner.



firstly, are the M54B30 engines the same between auto and manual?



do i need to address any prerequisites, or is it a case of change the manual box over to auto on the new engine and it just works?



also, how do I bleed the cooling system for the auto cooling system?

Ive had to split the auto oil cooler from the front of the car to remove the front end for engine removal.



any help would be greatly appreciated !
