E46 325 2001 - Advice on possible problems removing exhaust manifold

This is not a post asking about DIYS etc, but a post to enquire on what challenges you (people whom have done the diy) came across.

I'm certain as hell my exhaust manifold gaskets have failed and need replacing. For this reason I need to know what Im in for and the solutions to the problem you guys encountered.
