330i tyre choice

So all 4 tyres on my 2003 4-door 330i M-Sport / ZHP need replacing :cry:



I understand that BMW have historically recommended that Michelin Pilot Sports are fitted. Is this still the case?



I want to fit some tyres that are excellent all-rounders. The Continental Sport Contact 5 won the 2014 EVO tyre test, whilst the Pirelli P-Zero finished in the top 3.



Can anyone give me some guidance on what currently available tryes work well with my car? At the moment I'm being guided by tests carried out on FWD hot hatches and also by price in my local tyre depot.



I should point out that I have the 18" Option 2 alloys, so my tyre sizes are 255/35/18 and 225/45/18.
