Reedo, any hard information on this cartridge?
I've heard a variety of things on it, that it averages in excess of 2,000 fps, that 2,000 fps is a high exaggeration and it's closer to 1,800 fps, that it has similar ballistics to 9mm but shoots like .22, that it penetrates like 10mm, that it expends all of its energy within the first 6 inches. I've heard it compared to 5.7, which, after your last posting on the topic, makes me think this would be a good varmint round at best.
Have you (or anyone else on here, but I figure Reedo will have a page or two he can write on it) heard anything solid about this round?
It sounds interesting, to say the least, but I'm leaning towards this being someone trying to reinvent the wheel and hyping it up. My best guess right now is, like above, it'll be a good varmint round, but not a reliably effective SD round.
