Hi All,
Bought the car sitting on a set of 16" Contour II replicas. Ended up lowering with H&R race springs but decided I wanted to get some new wheels andfound a cheap set of staggered 17" Style 32 wheels which I've since had straightened and powder coated.
I had a shop mount some tired on them and pop them on the car but there were two fitment issues. I'm back on the 16" contours for now.
- The wheels are "loose" on the axle. Shop suggested I get some hub spacers.
- Rub. I guess the offset is such that it rubs the rear wheel wells a bit.
So my questions are as follows...
How do I know what size hub-centric spacer I need? Are there good/bad quality ones out there?
I have no experience with fender rolling. Is it a viable solution? Anything I should know about it?
See attached pic.
