2006 ZCP 6speed M3
Imola / Black 72k miles 3/2006 build
Loaded it even has the rear sunshade
$29,900
located an hour east of Pittsburgh.
History
From the records I have collected, the car was first delivered 5/22/06 @ Valley BMW in CA. The first owner put on 3718 miles. Then it was sold CPO 11/7/2006 by BMW of N Scottsdale. (I have a small stack of work orders from this dealer .. all minor work).
EAG first acquired the car 3/2013 @ aprox 49k miles. It was sold to someone who then sold the car back to EAG 5/2013.
I purchased the car 6/2013 from EAG. At that time it had 51254 miles on the clock. It has been my daily driver since then, and currently sits at 71,xxx miles.
Since the EAG service (inspection 2 + a new flex disc), most of the work on the car has been performed by our local M3 expert Matt (coinage).
The car is EXTREMELY clean. For being 11 years old, the condition is exceptional. For example, see the pic of my steering wheel. That is 11 year old alcantara
There are some stone chips etc (again it is 11 years old) but youll be hard pressed to find an M this clean.
This has been my 3rd E46 M3. I am considering selling only to free up some money and move on to something else. There is a small loan on the car thru PenFed that Ill be paying off soon.
Also, In 1/2016, the rear left bumper was bumped into while parked. This was very minor and did not alter the integrity of the car in any way. The rear bumper cover was replaced with a new BMW original part, & painted with Glasurit brand paint. No other work was needed, this was purely a cosmetic incident. It now looks as if this never happened. Just wanted to state this in the spirit of full disclosure.
Maintenance
I have a folder of invoices documenting nearly everything listed below. I either use BMW parts from places like ECS or FCP, or if I can source the exact item minus the BMW logo, I have some OEM parts as well. No cheap junk parts used. Oil changed every 5-7k. Sub-frame NOT done yet.

VANOS lock-down (Beisan) by Dafoe, including the new cam bolts and upper chain guide
5/2014

HVAC fan motor (Behr) (old one was noisy in cold weather)
6 new coils (Eldor)

Mods:
Ground Control coil over kit + RSMs
Apex ARC 8 wheels (18x9.5 et35 / 18x10 et 25) -- like new -- no rash
Pilot sports 245/40 & 275/35 (@ april of this year, measured F = 7/32 R=5/32)
Euro headers
Euro sec 1
CPI non-res section 2
TTFS tune
Shifter from a BMW 330d (give a shorter, tighter shift)
Turner under-drive pulley kit
RE tranny mounts
StopTech stainless brake lines
Mishimoto electric fan w/probe sensor
PowerFlex RTABS
Depo smoked corners
This has been a very solid car for me. The majority of the things I replaced were preventative and or 'while you're in there.' It currently needs absolutely nothing.
I'm sure I missed a few things. If so, just ask.
