I've always been a big fan of BMW cars and I am currently thinking about finally buying one. At this moment I'm the owner of an '07 Ford Fiesta ST and I've been looking around for BMW E46's.
I'm not sure yet if I'm going to buy one because I'm worrying a bit about reliability because an E46 will be a few years older then my current car. I've read some mixed opinions and I would like to hear your thoughts about it. I understand that reliability requires some good maintenance and my current car is not the cheapest to maintain also.
Is there someone on here who has owned a hot hatch like mine before their E46 and what's your opinion? Do you think it's worth it or should I just stick with my current car and save up for something newer?
