I have a 2001 330Ci Conv., 214K mi, it runs great.
Earlier this year I accidentally hit a big puddle of standing water at speed during heavy rainfall.
My SES light came on right away.
I finished the drive home as the car was running fine and I didn't hear the engine miss a beat.
I read the codes p0171 and p0174. and cleared them. They didn't come back again until days later. Now codes always come back and seem to pop up on my drive home.
I don't think I have a vacuum leak. Is it possible I damaged the O2 sensors when I hit the standing water?
