Up for sale is my 2001 330i slick top, black exterior with tan interior. I am the third owner. I’ve owned the car for just over 6 years and I must say this car has been extremely reliable and has never let me down. I bought the car with 99,000 miles from a mechanic who wanted to sell the car to open his own shop. I have put just over 12,000 miles a year (average) while under my ownership. Car sits at just over 173k. Mileage may increase but not by much.
Mods:
-E46 borla full cat-back exhaust and headers. $1500 value
-10” kicker’s with amp and custom box. $500 value
-E46 staggered m3 rims painted black. $600 value
-Front Wheels: 18" x 8" Bolt Pattern = 5x120mm. Offset = ET47 225-45-18
-Rear Wheels: 18" x 9" Bolt Pattern = 5x120mm. Offset = ET26 255-35-18
-Pioneer head unit with adjustable color. $100 value
-H.I.D headlights (8000k) with stock fog lights. LED reverse lights
*This car has about $2,500 worth of modifications and this excludes maintenance costs. My loss is your gain.
-Style 73 17x7 spare with good tire.
-I had the hood and front bumper repainted a couple years ago. These pieces are in overall good condition with only a few scratches/ rock chips from daily driving. Keep in mind that this car is 16 years old and it is not perfect so it does have some scratches and very few minor dents. However, the car is still clean and I get compliments on it all the time. It was garage kept about half of the time under my ownership.
Cons: Driver and passenger front window regulators need to be replaced (common problem), rear left window needs to be re-tinted. Driver seat is split on the bottom but can be reupholstered (Quoted $200 to repair). Driver door does not stay wide open but it opens and closes. (Someone hit my door with a bat or something. Ever since then I’ve had the problem)
Maintenance:
-Coil packs
-Spark plugs (NGK)
-Fuel pump
-CCV hoses
-Valve cover gasket
-Expansion tank and upper hose
-Oil changed about every 4,000 miles. Last oil change at 170,533 miles. Mobil 1 0W-40

*Airbag recall has not been completed but I will provide the necessary paperwork for the new owner so they will be able to get the service completed at their local dealership free of charge.
*I will get both front windows repaired with warranty and driver seat reupholstered if new buyer pays full price. This will cost me about $700*
*I will be leaving the state on 6/24/2017 so I'd like to have the car gone before then. If not then it will just be sitting and collecting dust. With that said, I'm not in a rush to sell but I would like to sell it so someone else can enjoy it.
