Lights flickering while driving and other problems

So I have a 325ci e46 w 125k. My lights are flickering while driving kinda looks like it blinks(turn off a little/ look like lights are low powered or sum) and turns back on. I also have another issue. My right passenger side, has started to hear a hissing or air. I can’t tell what it is. My tire pressure are okay and are where it should. So I just finished with my engine swap on my 2001 325i auto and the engine runs perfectly, the trans seems to be making a lot of noise almost like a whining noise. I go to back it out and it felt like it was slipping. So I drove about 90 miles today no problem. I get home and drive my car again around the block and it still was fine. temp gauge stuck on -40F?

My temp gauge is stuck on -40f and everytime i go through a shallow puddle it beeps and flashes a couple times? And when i put my defroster on it automatically goes full blast and gets really hot and i'm not able to adjust it? Anyone have any ideas?

First time BMW owner. A couple months ago I picked up a 2001 BMW 325Ci. It currently has 240K miles, previous owner said that the engine was rebuild at 100K miles.

E46 M3 tapping/ticking sound at 2k rpm

Hi all! I have a very disconcerning sound from my 2004 M3 177k miles. Theres a tap/ticking sound around 2000 RPMS that increases as RPMs increase. I'm wondering if its valve clearance and will a valve adjustment fix this or is there something else? Theres no vanos or motor codes. It almost sounds like rod bearings but I dont believe it to be that. No noticeable power loss. Any other ideas? Video below

'05 330ci, noticed yesterday that the exhaust ws making a kind of whistling sound - never heard this before. Anyone familiar w/this noise? Seems to be coming from the exhaust system, louder near the middle (front-to-back) of the car.

Koni STRT

Looking to replace shocks on 2001 330CI with sport suspension. I believe what is on it now are Bilstein B6. The car now has over 200k miles. I am looking to save some money. Would the Koni's be similiar as far as ride and handling? Chime in with your opinions or if you have experience with other options. Thanks.

I have a 2002 330ci convertible, which is my pride and joy. It is in perfect shape, body wise. 2003 BMW 330i - Fog Light replacement

I have a broken Fog Light on my daughter's 2003 330i.

In order to replace it, do I need to:

• remove the front fender plastic inside the fender well to get to it?
• reach it from the bottom through the plastic engine guard?
• Will I be able to reach it from the front after removing the ring around it?

330Ci rattle at 2k rpm under load

Hi guys! I’ve recently joined the E46 club with my 330ci and I love it however I’ve only noticed recently after changing my pulleys due to horrific noise from them that I’ve got a rattle at 2k rpm only does it when engine is warm and only under load I.e. whilst driving and won’t do it when the car is stationary revved. Dried battery acid in tray

I have noticed some orange residue in the battery tray. The PO told me that he had an issue with the old battery and the car dying on him, I am thinking this may be from that. I scrubbed away some of the surface orange/rust and there is still another layer of it. Is the best way to clean this to sand it down to metal then re-spray? Or is there a better way to remove everything?
