I am currently working on the tops electrics trouble shooting, I have the locks unlock, raises 10inches scenario, then all stops, nothing else occurs. Ok i am following the trouble shooting plan as per the help sections. Pulled white plug checked for continuity as per the chart. First three pairs no issues got continuity, 14&13/5&4 nothing... Ok broken wire lets go hunting, first bend from the front nothing obvious but wire seemed stretched. So i cut them open short both pairs going to the plug and they both test good. Issues is still going forward. I am rather upset i just had all that apart to do that diy on the forward locks. I am unfortunately have it take it apart again, but what are the chances of both micro switches going bad? Is there another location or bend they tend to fray the wires, dang it where talking 4 feet if that? Of what i have read the brain goes storing codes or did i have to reset something after rebuilding the front locks, or should it have no effect. I would keep going but its raining, which put a hold on this. Then i have to chase the other lower six wires in the group that have no continuity. What a mission lol.
