Lcm and coding

I am thinking of changing my lcm to one with software version 4.5 i have searced with regards coding the vin and milage on the new lcm. I can only find posts that use pa soft 1.4. I have the bmw software tools (ncs,sss etc) can changing the milage and the vin be done using the bmw software tools.
