A friend of mine asked me yesterday if the new Civic Type R could hang with an E46 M3 in a straight line and a track. I thought at first, no way. But then I looked it up and was shocked to see the new Civic Type R actually performs! I know we're all BMW fans here, but objectively, could you see yourself choosing a Civic Type R over an M3? Keep in mind the Civic is a brand new car. I'd probably get it in black to hide the wild design. M3 is stilla classic. I think it'd be a hard choice, objectively speaking!

E46 M3 vs. the all-new Civic Type R. What do you think?
