This car has a RECONSTRUCTED Title

I bought the car in September 2014 with 103K miles on it. In January 2015 I rear ended another vehicle and it resulted in the car being a total loss. I bought the car back from the insurance company, fixed it and then put it back on the road. You can see what the resulting damage from the accident was from the image I included below. The car runs great and is a blast to drive. It has been one of the most reliable vehicles I have owned and has never left me stranded. There have been times where over the course of a week and a half that I have put 2k Miles on it and never had a hiccup. Below you will see a list of all of the maintenance I have done since owning it as well as all of the current issues it has. I am going to be thorough with all of the issues so there are no surprises.

Maintenance:
Oil changes with Mobil 1 0W-40 European Blend and Mann filters oil every 7500 miles

104K - Left Rear lower control arm and bushings

105K - Complete cooling system overhaul. All new hoses, radiator, upgraded water pump (Stainless Impeller), thermostat, reservoir, and temp sensor

114K- Front and Rear Rotors and Pads

115K - VANOS unit and valve cover gasket

117K - DISA

120K - Blow Motor Resistor

124K - Continental DWS06 Tires Front: 225/55R18 Rear: 255/45R18 and an Alignment

125K - Clutch, Pressure Plate, Throw Out Bearing, Pilot Bearing, Clutch Fork, Return Spring, pivot pin (upgraded to brass instead of plastic), and transmissions mounts

127K - Drive Shaft, Rear Shocks, Rear Shock Mounts, Passenger side Tie Rod

130K - Both Door Lock and Trunk Actuators

131K - Lower Control Arm Bushings

132K - Oil Level Sensor

134K - Fuel Filter and Vacuum Lines going to it

137K - Entire CCV system replaced and upgraded to the cold weather version, IAC boot, Both Intake Boots and new spark plugs

138K - Gas Cap

The air bag recall has been done.

I am sure that I am forgetting other work that I have done to it.

Body and Exterior:
  • Paint is an 7/10
  • Most is in pretty good shape. There is some small spots of clear coat peeling above the door and rear window on the passenger side as well as the front right corner of the trunk lid and on the front of the passenger side fender.
  • The hood is topaz blue. It has some cracks in the paint above the passenger side headlight as well as some clear coat shipping up on the front of it
  • The trim under the headlights and the front tow hook cover are just in primer.
  • There is a big chip in the paint right behind the front right wheel.
  • The wheels have some curb rash.
  • The bumpers are a little banged up from city living.

Interior:
  • The interior is in really good shape besides the typical E46 issues.
  • The A, B and C pillar fabric is sagging and falling off.
  • The driver side stitching on the side support is coming undone. The passenger side has stated to but isn't as bad.
  • The cover for the ash try in the rear s broken,

I will be changing the oil this week.

Current Issues:
  • Sometimes when it rains a little bit of water ends up in the pocket of the drivers side door. It has no consistency to it. There are times under extremely heavy rain where it wont leak an then times under a small rain were a little leaks in.
  • I think one of the ABS sensors may be on its way out. Once and a while the ABS and Brake light come on while driving. I have 4 new ABS sensors and the way and will be replacing them all with in the next week. If that does not fix the issue then I am going to get it realigned.
  • The check engine light is currently on for the code P0455 which is an evap leak code. I thought it was the gas cap, but just replaced it and it still is throwing the code. I am going to dig more into the issue this weekend.
  • The coolant indicator light is on and has been since I bought the car. I have replaced the reservoir, sensors and the pigtail and it won't go off. It does not burn any coolant. I have never had to add any since replacing the coolant system at 105k miles.
  • The passenger side washer jet on the hood doesn't sit flush with the hood. One of the clips on it broke
  • Recently the passenger side front tire has started rubbing the inner wheel well when making extremely tight turns to the left. I will be looking into that this weekend as well
  • The only key I have is the metal valet key that has been machined to work on all of the locks
  • The brakes are pulsing slightly. The car has been sitting for a little while and the rotors rusted under where the break pads were. If it keeps up I will get the rotors re cut

I have a lot of spare parts I will include with the sale:
  • Radiator
  • Coolant reservoir
  • Water Pump
  • Rad Hoses
  • Fender Liner (don't remember which side it belongs to)
  • A bunch of extra headlight ballasts, igniters and level motors.
  • Meyle HD lower control arm bushings
  • Diff Mount Bushings
  • 1.5 Gallons of Coolant
  • 1 Extra Mann Oil Filter
  • 4 quarts of Mobil 1 0w-40 European Blend
Please feel free to ask any questions or request better pictures of specific areas

I'm asking $3500 obo

It is hard to get a good picture of the clear coat peeling
