Check engine light?

Hey, I have a 1999 BMW 328i and it has a check engine light. I cleared the light and drove it around but the light popped up so I plugged the code reader in and I get P1421 and P1423, both I think are air flow codes. I check in the engine bay and see a hole in the plastic hose leading to the air intake. I'm assuming this is the cause of the check engine light. It's the plastic part right after the radiator, before the air filter. Gonna try duct taping it.
