Did a bit of searching but don't have a clear answer on this, so I would very much appreciate the knowledge of someone with more experience in the matter.
Original E46 Mirror:
Auto-Dimming
SOS Present
New E90 Mirror:
Auto-Dimming
Compass
Homelink
No SOS Present
The connector clipped into place, but there was no power to either the Homelink or the Compass. Looking into this, there was some vague mention of cutting wires, but I am not going to meddle without some clear instruction.
I could not care less about SOS, so permanently disabling it is fine. I just need the Homelink and Compass to work.
