This is my first post after buying my first BMW. It is a 2004 330ci, it has 47,000 miles. I purchased it 2 weeks ago and at that time the side mirrors worked. The electric control switch worked on both mirrors and the reverse tilt was also working. A few days ago everything quit working. Neither driver or passenger mirror motors can be actuated, no noise from the motors; the reverse tilt is inoperable as well. I have checked the fuses, no issues there. I have been reading up on electrical issues with our cars but a little help and guidance is greatly appreciated. The few days leading to this issue saw a lot of trunk use, sister slamming passenger door :banghead: I can't really think of anything else.
Tonight I noticed that after I shut the car off, the gauge cluster lights stayed on. The light switch was in automatic mode and the headlights turned off with the ignition. When I locked the car with my key fob the cluster lights stayed on and remained on for a few minutes. It was not until I locked the car again with the key button that the lights turned off. I don't know if this is helpful, I am trying to offer as much as I can.
