e46 328 ci modifications

HI I'm thinking of tuning my 2000 e46 328 ci bmw I was thinking of starting with changing the inlet manifold to the m54 off a 330 ci but did not no if the m3 head is the same exteria os the 328 head and if it would be worth trying to put the injectors fuel pump inlet manifold and exhaust manifold on mine would it be worth doing this if it could be done or would u recommend some thing else ? I have also been looking at turbo kits on ebay and if I went down that root I'm confused how my exhaust would fit to there turbo manifold but I also was going to get a custom built decat power flow exhaust a super chip and finally remap am I on the right path or would u recommend another path
