Question is 2 part....
Let's take a sample car, 330i. One is auto one is manual. Diff gear is 3.38 on auto and 2.93 on manual. I'm deducing this because of the addition gear in the manual set up. Now I swaped a quaife 4.10 LSD in the auto but have converted to manual, so what would my new gear ratio be?:hmm: I went from stock sp c to 4.10 just from changing the diff so in assuming my Quaife has a different ration obviously.
Next....it is my goal to get my ratio closer to 3.38 while maintaining my LSD. Can I do this by simply swapping the ring and pinion gears? How can I calculate if I'm not using the stock diff?
