Unfortunately, there's always that unlucky person that crashes a car that hasn't even been out long. This time it's BMW's i8 that makes the news.
The crash happened in Thailand and it was, well, more of a light fender bender. A Nissan pick-up made contact with the i8 in the passenger's door, just under the mirror. Going by pictures, it doesn't look like a hard hit, but when a car is new, any damage is painful. On a positive note, it will buff out. Not so much, but according to BMW, repairs are easier than ever on the i cars, since they utilize carbon fiber reinforced plastic. Have a look at the damage below.
