I have a 2001 325Ci with 277k on the clock. It has recently started throwing a P1193 code - post catalyst fuel trim.
We are now thinking that the bank 2 post cat sensor might be lazy. On the attached graph, the car is started at time 121 seconds, and idles through the graph. Towards the end of the graph, the voltage drops, indicating a lean condition on B2S2. Is there anyone who has a little more technical knowledge than I do who could look at this and see what you think? It is much appreciated!
So far we changed:
both upstream oxygen sensors
cleaned the MAF
checked the intake boots for tears
changed a vacuum connector on the F connector on the upper intake boot.
