I plan on buying the oem alarm because I do not want the hassle of aftermarket and prefer my wiring harnesses not being hacked into. BMW NW quoted me $200 just to activate it. That sounds rediculous to me but I guess if I have to pay it I will. So my question...is the dealership the only place to get it activated or is there another option? Please let me know any places, thoughts, or input. Thanks.
