For sale is the LCD screen for the MK4 (16:9) monitor in a BMW X5 E53. This is a good replacement if your screen has developed some dead patches (gray spots that no longer work).
I accidentally bought the wrong LCD for my E46 and realize this one is for the X5, due to a different viewing angle. It worked perfectly well in my car, besides the viewing angle being only suitable for X5.
The little plastic clip is broken, but you can get this from your old LCD, or simply hot-glue it in place. There are videos on Youtube showing how to replace this LCD inside the headunit.
