Noise from rear pads when releasing e brake

I had this since I bough my car always wondered what could this be so when I park I put my hand brake up, when I start up I step in the brakes then release the e brake then release brakes again and a sort of grinding sound happens then never happens until I park and do the parking ritual. I think its the e brake pads, what do you think?
