My check engine light was coming on and off in the last two months and now it pretty much stays on. I think the last two times I got a full tank of gas, the CEL cleared for a day or so and then came back. Also, there was one time when it came on a aggressive/tight left turn that I did. Not sure if this is related to CEL, though.
Any ideas of whats going on here? Not sure if these codes are more of a cascade effect of something else that is happening. Or all of these are pretty straight forward of what needs to be replaced/fixed? Here are the codes/report from OBDLink SX Scan Tool:
P0505 - PowerTrain - Idle Air Control System
P0491 - PowerTrain - Secondary Air Injection System Insufficient Flow
P0492 - PowerTrain - Secondary Air Injection System Insufficient Flow
P0365 - PowerTrain - Camshaft Position Sensor "B" Circuit
Oxygen Sensors:
All Passed
On-Board Monitoring:
All passed, except one failed "Component Id $07, TID $05 - Manufacturer Defined" (I'm looking to get BMW specific software to identify this one)
Freeze Frame Report:
0x02 - Freeze frame DTC - P0365
0x03 - Fuel system status - Open-loop due to insufficient engine temperature
