Hey guys longtime lurker here. Got a bit of a problem and was wondering what you guys think I should do.
In the process of replacing the power steering pump in my car (04 330i) with my dad the pulley for the pump broke. I'm not sure how it happened since I wasn't there when it happened, but it is indeed broken.
What replacement pulley should I get?
Should I buy a genuine one that is plastic, or go for an aluminium one?
Is there any difference getting an aluminium one over a plastic one?
DeutscheautopartsUSA has an aluminium pulley for under $25 on ebay with free shipping.
Bavauto.com has a genuine plastic pulley for $40 and a aluminium one for $38, but shipping is around $10.
Any help will be appreciated.
