ZKW Xenon DOWNGRADE to Halogen DIY Anywhere ?

I've got an '03 330i Zhp and wifey just got an '04 330i. Both cars have the dreaded ZKW burned reflectors in the Xenon headlights. Of course I did not know about this issue before buying. Arrrrrrrrrgh!



I'll probably end up spending the money to retrofit the Zhp lights but my wife just wants to "downgrade" to the old style non-Xenon halogens. I've searched and I've not found any DIY for downgrading.



I've had the headlights out and, IIRC, there were four connectors. Standard halogens would have only two, so obviously I've got to do something with the extras. I've got the BMW Scanner 1.4 cables and software so I can do the necessary coding.
