Has Cassette Player!

Hey everyone-just picked up a 2001 330ci. Still has a tape paler and the navigation screen from ions ago. There's a 6-disc in the trunk but doesn't work and the maps system with DVDs in the trunk. Would putting in a new CD player or nav system mess anything up?
