This evening I said goodbye to the car I've owned and loved for the past 10 years. I was driving home from work and smelled some smoke in the car. When I pulled over and popped the hood, there was no smoke or weird odor coming from the engine bay. I went back into my car and noticed smoke near the back seats. When I popped the trunk, I saw a fire near my battery area. I had no means of extinguishing it and watch as my baby roasted. The fire department came in time to prevent the fire from spreading to the front so the engine and tranny are in perfect condition.
I have an ad posted in the parting out engine section so if you're interested, feel free to PM me. I don't have comprehensive insurance so I'm trying to figure our where to go from here. Feel free to shoot me an offer.
Thank you all for the great advice and stories of the year. I'm definitely going to miss my baby. At least Wolfy got one last clay and wax this weekend - he went out shinning!
