I drive a 2001 M3 convertible. Recently, I have discovered that my car will not start. I originally thought that it was the battery, but after an attempted jump start, I inferred that it is something else (in addition to the jump not working, all of the electronic and electrical systems on the car function). I am thinking that it is possibly an ignition switch, starter motor, or possibly an ECM (both of my key fobs suddenly stopped working as well). Any thoughts on what the issue is?
