Hello fellow BMW drivers,:D
New member here, just joined the forum today. Have been reading for a while though and you guys have helped me bigtime! I picked up a 2001 BMW e46 320CI (the 2.2 m54 engine) with plenty of things wrong with it. Will be posting some vids and pics with the repairs that I will be doing to it.
Now, my problem. As I am learning more and more about cars and expanding my tools, I was trying to look at my fuel trims with my OBD2 scanner and found 2 issues.
1)
For some reason my STFT1 does not read anything, which is weird as my LTFT1 does show data. By not reading anything i mean that there is no data available to read. Any idea's?
2)
My LFTT1 & 2 are at 6.2 which is kinda high I figure. Especially with the STFT reading around 3. Very rarely i have a code saying cilinder #4 has a missfire when starting (don't remember the exact code). Could this have any influence on the fuel readings?
Hope you guys can help:thumbup:
