Hi to you all out there. My 2003 2.2 litre Touring Automatic has developed a hick-up.
The said light had briefly come-on after starting the engine,then after stopping and turning off the ignition (suspecting a multiple earthing issue) I fired up again but it has stayed on and is still on.
The car once warm-up has a very slight roughness when in drive but smooths out when in neutral/park.
Whilst on the road it runs very very smoothly - well it is a six cylinder - and their are no signs of running hot.
Any ideas or knowing of what the most likely fix is likely to be ?
An initial diagnostic had seemingly flagged-up either and or a plug or coil issue but replacement of one and then the other has not shown a cure.
It is going back for further possible surgery on Thursday with a view to having the module sent away for a repair !!
Based upon collective knowledge and experience of the E46',how big is my head-ache likely to be ?
PS. This has now become a priority over and above having the silly spats/eyebrows removed and the likelihood of the front wings being replaced along with the associated paint-work being attended-to.
