So coming home from vaca suffered complete loss of ATF in power steering reservoir. 300 miles from home, any fluid added just dumped out. WTF!
If I was solo would have camped at the local organic car guy till Mon. AM but with wife in tow needed to get home.
So added some "magic repair thick product", retopped with ATF, and went for home. all highway.
My question is how do I know if the rack is totaled? I'm planning on all new hoses, pump and resevoir, but how much damage has the rack suffered driving 300 miles. OUCH!
