Up for sale is my 2000 BMW 328i sedan with 251,xxx miles. The mileage is high but it runs very well considering its age and mileage. This would make a great starter/commuter car for someone looking for a cheap BMW. Its a luxury/premium package car with Xenon headlights, CD player, Harmon Kardon stereo, and a sunroof. The exterior cleans up well but does have some dents and scratches throughout as you would expect for a car of this age and mileage. The interior is very clean with the exception of the leather seats which have some wear.
Recent Maintenance:
-New brake pads and rotors all around (less than 50mi on them)
-New hand brake cables/pads/hardware
-New front control arm bushings
-New front struts and rear strut mounts
-New belts and pulleys
-New valve cover gasket
-New SAP air hoses
-New expansion tank & thermostat with OEM blue coolant flush
-New fuel filter and fuel level sender
-Newer windshield (replaced two years ago)
-Recent Oil/Filter change with Castrol 0w-40 Full Synthetic
There is some rust in the door jambs and rear wheel arches that has been touched up with color matched paint. These areas could use a more thorough sanding and rust preventing in the future. The airbag light is on due to a bad seat belt buckle, these typically run about $75 on eBay if the light bothers you. Also, the passenger rear window regulator needs to be replaced. The A/C does not work; it will need a new condenser (About $50) and a recharge if you would like to have A/C again. Lastly the car will need four tires.
Minor Modifications:
-H&R Super Sport springs
-Dyed Black headliner like the ZHP/M cars
-Black shift/ebrake boots with new shift knob
-Wood trim has been painted silver
-Rubber BMW all weather mats
Overall the car runs well and has been a very reliable commuter car for me over the last few years. The transmission shifts smoothly and the clutch grabs strong. No odd noises from the engine and it pulls smoothly to redline. Asking $2000 OBO. I have a clean PA title in hand.
Pics to follow.
