Hi
I have 2003 320i (M54 engine)
when I start the car on morning it starts immediately, no rough idle but with a strange growling noise. while engine warms up it accelerates slow and feel power loss, when a engine warms up at normal operational temperature noise is reduced and acceleration becomes much faster. after that if I turn of car about 30-40 min and start again engine noise is normal and throttle response and acceleration is perfect
i have checked errors with INPA and found P1622 (thermostat) nothing more
after clearing error memory it comes again in 2 days after
on a smoke test i found crack on vacuum hose under car which is connected to fuel regulator
what else can I check? it is possible that unmetered air pass to intake manifold from cracked these vacuum hose? or i have another problem?
