e46 330ci or zhp

I have decided a 330i is what I want but not sure if i should just get the 330ci or 330ci zhp. I am coming from an s2000 and I read that the zhp package gives the 330 a 13.7 steering ratio which is similar to the s2000 at 13.8 and I like that quicker turn in feel and response. I do plan on tracking the car, but mainly daily and a canyon every now and then. Would it be better to just get a normal 330ci and put coils to have them handle the same or just spend more for the zhp performance. Also I read that the steering ratio for a normal 330i is 15-16.1? Hp does not matter to me much, I just care about handling and response. Which would be the better option? Thanks
