Tint and scratches?

I am wanting to apply tint to the rear window as well as the sides. I am curious if the rear window tint ends up getting scratched during the folding/storage? Also, my E90 M3 side window tint gets the crap scratched out of it when you roll the windows down. Discovered after I installed that you have to install some glides or something to avoid that.



Do the side windows on the E46 have the same issue and require a mod prior to tinting?
