Two days after having my 2002 325i state inspected, the Service Engine Light came on. I have a diagnostic tool coupled with Torque app. The code is P0004, Fuel Volume Regulator Control. This seems to be an obsolete code, but I can't find specific info on the cause. Also, I was able to clear the code, but starting the car again results in the rendering of the code.
Anyone have any idea as to why this particular code would suddenly appear after a simple inspection? Worst case scenario, I can take it back to the shop that performed the inspection, but I'd like to solve this myself if possible.
