I have a 2003 330Ci, and have recently had issues with the central locking on the car via the master key. It has gradually got worse, but over the last few days I've had to repeatedly press the unlock button for about 10 mins until it has unlocked.
I managed to get in and drove to work this morning - but when i went to go to BMW for a replacement key at lunch, I noticed the car hadn't automatically locked - but i'm sure it used to in the past?!
Can anyone please clarify if their E46 automatically locks once the key is removed after a period of time?
