Word, so I just picked up a 2002 325xit and it came with an AFE Magnum Force intake. It is a little loud for my taste. I recently sanded down the metal heat shield and painted it with high temp matte black. The intake was cleaned and oiled with a K&N kit recharge kit. Everything is in good shape though there was some surface rust on the heat shield before I sanded and painted. Hardware connecting the filter mount to the heat shield is not original but works fine.
I would like to trade this intake for a stock 325 intake plus 100$ on your end. You ship your stock intake to me and I'll ship you back the AFE intake. Would prefer that your stock intake had a decent air filter.
