A, B, C Pillar repair question?

I don't know much about it but I see a lot of comments about "plasti dip" paint. Assuming that is a rattle can paint.



Like most others the fabric on my pillars is coming off and wondering if anyone has just taken it off and painted it with somethis with some texture?
