omg not another s54 swap thread right? before anyone bashes me, i did use the search function. not only on thise site, but also on the m3 forums. lol im sorry guys i had to. im hoping to get advice from those who have actually completed the swap. im currently in the middle of a s54 swap and ran into a few small (hopefully) obstacles.
(1) since the m3 s54 transmission is shorter than the 325i, do i need to get an m3 transmission bracket, or could i use just drill holes to use the 325i transmission bracket?
(2) ive read from various forums where some used a 325i ews, and others sayi8gn to use the m3 ews. so for those who actually completed the swap how did you guys tackle that situation?
(3)my mechanic said that the shifter is also a different length, so did you guys buy an m3 shifter or did you guys just buy a short shifter?
