During a hot summer day about a week ago I was driving my car kind of hard and for the first time ever heard my radiator fan turn on full blast. I figured that with my driving and the heat that maybe the car had to cool off.
I then got home and parked the car in my garage. I noticed that when I got out of the car the fan continued to stay on. I figured well maybe the fan is staying on until it has cooled down a bit...
3 hours later and I go into my garage and the fan is still going at full blast.
That's when I began to look into issues and I found 2 threads that had people with similar issues but no one really knew exactly what was wrong with their car.
As of today, I just replaced my fan temperature sensor and that didn't solve the issue. I'm looking further into it and something came up about the final stage resistor, but I thought that has more to do with the blower more than anything, and all of that works perfectly fine.
Has anyone else had this problem?
AS A SIDE NOTE: Is it normal when you attempt to check your coolant level that you cannot tell if it's full or not until you release the bleed screw? That just happened to me, I was terrified when I saw a bone dry reservoir to see that it was actually perfectly full.
