Throttle Body Questions

I have a 2000 328i with M52TU engine and manual trans. It has 233,000 miles on it. Sometimes at WOT it will completely lose power but only after large and fast accelerator pedal excursions. If I stop the car and wait at least a two minutes before restarting it start normally and I can drive off. The CES light will stay illuminated until I've gone through three startup cycles which is normal.
